Each room has its own style

There is no room without a floor! But are we sure that choosing the flooring for each room in the bedroom is that simple?

In fact, due to the characteristics of each material, there are floors that adapt easily to all environments, and floors that can work well in some cases and not in others.

Let's see together what is the best flooring for each room in your apartment, obviously, with a look towards the trends of 2022.

The colors of 2022 for floors

Next year, floors will all tend to be light colors, from shades of gray, to beige, to white and its undertones, while maintaining very natural tones. Dark colors are not going out of style, but they certainly will not be among the stars of next year.

Light colors are preferred because the keyword is: brightness!

The kitchen floor

The kitchen is one of those rooms in the house that requires special attention to the type of flooring used, due to the presence of moisture and the daily life that is walked on this floor.

But functionality does not exclude elegance, in fact, for 2022 the most popular kitchen floors contain both of these characteristics. The best solutions in this regard are ceramic tiles and porcelain stoneware; we are talking about two durable materials, easy to clean and presented in many colors.

The bathroom floor

In principle, the measures for the bathroom floor are the same ones that need to be considered for the kitchen, with the only difference that in the bathroom you can play more with colors and geometric patterns!

Your only limit is your imagination, you can combine them with wall wallpapers or play with contrast, you can choose them with linear tiles or with an innovative design, such as mosaic, with which you can decide the design that is going to be created and create focal points of the environment itself.

A touch of great elegance, if you like the style, is certainly given by the herringbone arrangement, with tiles in dark tones such as black: a strong visual impact, with refinement and timeless luxury.

The living room floor

The living room is one of the focal rooms of an apartment, it is the environment that is lived in the most by the entire family, but also where guests are received: a bit like the calling card of our home.

The 2022 trends for the living room floor offer practical, simple solutions, that remind of naturalness.

To satisfy these needs, laminate is certainly the best type of covering to choose; it perfectly imitates natural wood and is available in many color options. An interesting option of laminate is its textured version, which offers a less smooth surface and more similar to natural wood.

Also highly approved in this 2022 are gray solid wood parquet and hand-brushed parquet.

Bedroom floor

In the case of the bedroom too, the trends for 2022 focus on neutral colors and natural materials, to recreate a relaxing environment, more so in such an intimate corner of the house.

The most fashionable floors are always classic parquet - even in its distressed version to give a vintage touch to the room - and parquet with boards of different lengths - for an original character, but always with a comfortable disposition.
